Our industry leading capabilities in field survey, data analysis, management, monitoring and technical reporting provide our clients with scientific understanding of the range of possible ecosystem outcomes from various water management strategies, in accordance with various regulatory requirements, to support sound decision making.

Based in West Perth, WA, Lateral comprises eight experienced aquatic ecologists, with over 65 year’s combined experience, to provide our clients with scientifically robust, high-quality deliverables. Our team has highly credentialed academics (PhD), certified environmental practitioners (CenVP) at the forefront of innovative field technologies, expert freshwater macroinvertebrate taxonomists with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and software, with complimentary technical skills in data collection, statistical analysis packages, impact and risk assessments.

Principal Aquatic Ecologist and Director, Adam Harman has >15 years’ experience in the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of Inland Waters, with specific experience and in-depth knowledge of temporary and permanent Inland Waters across central and northern Australia. Adam has a broad network, working closely with other leading scientists specialising in terrestrial env. factors.
