Evan Jowers has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Evan began their career as a Russian Linguist in the US Marine Corps from 1991 to 1993. Following this, they worked as an Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from 2000 to 2003. Evan then served as General Counsel at Direct Source International from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to the present, Evan Jowers has been actively involved in the legal industry as the Head of Asia at Kinney Recruiting and as the Co-Founder of Jowers | Vargas, an Asia-Focused Big Law Consulting and Recruiting company. In 2023, they will begin a new role as the Principal and Head of Asia at Lateral Link. Overall, Evan Jowers brings extensive experience and expertise to the legal and recruiting industries, particularly in the Asian market.
Evan Jowers completed a B.A. in Russian Studies at the University of Florida in 1997. From 1998 to 2001, they attended Boston University School of Law and earned a JD degree.
