Matt Ritter has a diverse work experience in various industries. Matt began their career as a Co-Creator and Co-Executive Producer at MSNBC, where they oversaw all aspects of a docuseries about divorced couples. Matt then moved on to work as a Creator and Co-Executive Producer at Studio Lambert USA, Inc., where they developed an untitled docuseries and was in charge of casting, writing, editing, and production for a pilot presentation.
Matt also worked at FishBowl Worldwide Media, Inc. as a Supervising Producer, where they wrote scripts for an unscripted E! pilot and oversaw different elements of the show in the field and in post-production. Matt further gained experience at Gurney Productions as a Story Producer for shows like "Fat N' Furious" and "Duck Dynasty," where they crafted narrative, wrote, edited, and worked on other production tasks.
Additionally, Matt has experience in the legal and entertainment sectors. Matt was a Principal and Vice President of Development at Comedians-at-Law and Only In Law School, where they created content, produced videos, wrote articles, and performed comedy for law schools, law firms, and bar associations. Matt also worked as a Principal and CEO at their own company, Matt Ritter, where they developed TV shows and movies and performed stand-up comedy nationwide.
Matt's most recent role is as a Podcast Host for the "Man of the Year" podcast, where they aim to help people build and maintain friendships. Matt is also familiar with legal recruiting, as they worked as a Principal at Lateral Link, providing market analysis, resume advice, interview strategy, and related services to attorneys across the United States.
Matt Ritter attended Binghamton University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Matt then went on to the University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
