David Eggertsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career as a Volunteer Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they led a team of missionaries and achieved fluency in French. After that, they worked as a Web Designer at Heritage Web Solutions and as an Apartment Manager at Cedar Creek Management LLC. In 2012, they became a Financial Advisor at American Senior Benefits before transitioning to the role of Treasurer at the Iron County Republican Party.
From 2013 to 2019, David served as an IT Consultant at the Glenn J. Kimber Center for Education, where they were responsible for overseeing IT operations for multiple websites and serving as the IT director for Kimber Academy Distance Learning.
In 2013, David joined TeachingSelfGovernment.com as the Chief Operating Officer, where they managed operations, product development, website development, strategic planning, financial analysis, marketing, and human resource management for a company focused on teaching parenting skills.
In 2016, David became the Chief Operating Officer of The Freedom Catalyst, where they handled online services, technical support, customer service, content delivery, and business strategy analysis. David also provided coaching to other small business owners.
David then worked as the President of Improvement Marketing from 2008 to 2021, where they were responsible for conceptual development, strategic planning, establishment of new products and services, financial counseling, marketing, and relationship management. David also provided consulting services to over 40 business clients and handled programming and graphic design for more than 100 websites.
Most recently, David joined Latitude in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer and later took on the role of Product Manager in 2021. The exact end dates for their positions at Latitude are not provided.
David Eggertsen completed their high school education at Timpview High School from 1998 to 2003. David then attended Utah Valley University in 2006 and 2007, although they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 2007, David briefly attended George Wythe University, where they pursued a degree in Statesmanship within the Liberal Arts field. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Southern Utah University. In addition to their formal education, David also obtained certification as a TSG Mentor from TeachingSelfGovernment.com in June 2016.
