Andy Luo has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andy started their career as a Research Associate at the University of California, San Diego in 2008. Later, in 2010, they worked as a Developmental Technician III at the UCSD Scripps Institute of Oceanography. In the same year, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at VertexLCD, where they led the development of high precision LCD panels.
From 2010 to 2014, Andy worked as a Project Engineer at VACCO Industries, where they managed multiple programs related to fluid components for satellite and spacecraft propulsion systems. Andy provided technical expertise and implemented design improvements.
In 2015, Andy joined Meggitt PLC as a Project Engineer, where they worked until 2017.

In 2019, Andy became a Software Engineering Consultant at BlackBox Engineering LLC, where they worked until 2021. Andy used tech stacks like Ruby on Rails, React/Redux, PostgreSQL, and Heroku to assist business leaders in planning and executing technical initiatives.
Most recently, Andy joined Lattice in 2021 as a Software Engineer, where they continue to apply their skills and expertise in software development.
Andy Luo has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego. Andy also attended App Academy from 2017 to 2018, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, Andy has obtained certifications in Engineering in Training (EIT) from NCEES and Six Sigma Yellow Belt from ASQ, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
