Mohamed Ibrahim is a wireless software developer at LATYS since April 2023, with prior experience as a software developer at Shabodi where expertise in 3GPP/5G network protocols and deployment of 4G and 5G networks was gained. A postdoctoral researcher and research assistant at Concordia University from September 2017 to July 2022, Mohamed developed system-level simulators and novel routing techniques for mmWave relaying systems. Experience also includes serving as a senior researcher engineer at TWASSol, launching a start-up focused on wireless network solutions, and conducting research at the German University in Cairo on algorithms for indoor network planning. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, a Master of Science in Communications Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Alexandria University.
