Gunther Wobser has extensive experience in executive positions, particularly in the manufacturing and marketing sectors. Gunther served as the President & CEO and Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter at LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER GmbH & Co. KG since 2003. During their tenure, the company grew to become a global leader in the manufacture of constant temperature equipment and systems. Gunther Wobser was also the Executive Director of Marketing at the same company from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Brand Manager at Mondelēz International from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, Gunther Wobser is a Member of the Band of Angels, Silicon Valley's oldest seed funding organization.

Gunther Wobser has a diverse education history. Gunther obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Diplom-Kaufmann degree from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg in the years 1990-1995. Gunther then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from TU Bergakademie Freiberg from 1996 to 2003.

In recent years, Gunther Wobser has continued their education through various programs. Gunther attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business multiple times, completing the Executive Program in Leadership and the Effective Use of Power in 2015, followed by The Corporate Entrepreneur: Driving Innovation and New Ventures in 2016. In 2017, they participated in the Influence and Negotiation Strategies Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Additionally, Gunther Wobser attended a workshop on Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute in April 2017. In 2018, they took part in the Venture Capital Unlocked Deal Camp at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law.

Looking to the future, Gunther Wobser has plans to attend the Singularity Executive Program at Singularity University, scheduled for June 4-8, 2023.
