Katy Gajewicz

Katy Gajewicz has a vast and extensive work experience in the field of strategic planning and account planning. Katy is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Laughlin Constable, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the EVP of Strategy at the same company from September 2021 to May 2023. Katy also worked as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning at Laughlin Constable from April 2017 to May 2023.

Before joining Laughlin Constable, Katy held various strategic planning roles at different companies. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Insights at Clarteza, where they utilized their expertise in strategic planning to help clients in different areas like new product development, brand positioning, and advertising tracking.

From 2010 to 2011, Katy served as the Vice President of Strategic Planning Director at Draftfcb, where they provided strategic leadership for S.C. Johnson International initiatives. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2006, they worked at Foote, Cone & Belding, where they held the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning Director and was responsible for the account planning needs of various S.C. Johnson North American brands.

Katy's career in planning started in 1991 at Leo Burnett, where they worked as a Senior Analyst in Research and Planning, and was responsible for identifying client issues, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and providing consumer insights for strategic and copy development.

Before Leo Burnett, Katy was a Senior Account Planner at Bayer Bess Vanderwarker, where they worked on multiple agency accounts, including Gatorade, Suave, and Campbell's Spaghettios.

Katy Gajewicz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from Washington University in St. Louis. In 2020, Katy obtained a certification in "Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience" from LinkedIn.
