Matt Gannon

Matt Gannon is the current Recruitment Team Lead for Aviation at LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Launch Operations Manager for a previous company from December 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they were selected by the customer and senior site leadership to manage the planning and co-ordination of a new model launch (Discovery Sport) throughout ten different build phases across BIW, Press, Trim & Final production areas. Matt was operationally responsible for up to 80 colleagues across different shift patterns and multiple sites, ensuring robust BCM, legal compliance, safe and efficient running. Matt also created and re-developed over 50 processes to support different internal logistics strategies.

In their role as Launch Operations Manager, Matt successfully launched the Land Rover Discovery Sport in line with the customer schedule with zero contractual penalties or safety issues and under budget. Matt also introduced standardised team development approach; 121s, balanced scorecards, career plans throughout all levels.
