Caroline Okun has a long and varied work experience in the design industry. Caroline began their career in 2004 as a Graphic Designer for Red Hat, where they focused on print pieces, event collateral, web banners, and logos. In 2007, they moved to Brooks Bell Interactive as a Graphic Designer. There, they designed and implemented online media for Fortune 1000 companies. Caroline then worked as a Senior Graphic Designer for Lulu.com, responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design of solutions to actualize marketing strategies from concept to completion. In 2011, they joined Spoonflower as the Director of Sprout Patterns, where they managed social media platforms, created content, and oversaw customer service issues. Caroline also served as the Design Director/Principal Designer, playing a pivotal role in the growth of the Spoonflower brand. In 2017, they became the Creative Director of Brains are Pretty and the Design Director of LaunchBio Inc.
Caroline Okun has a diverse educational background. Caroline graduated with a BGD Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University in Graphic Design, an MA from KU Leuven in European Studies, and a BA with Highest Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Psychology.
