Sm Rau

SM Rau, MSOD, currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Flux Vertical Theatre since July 2024 and as Senior Director, HRBP at LaunchDarkly since July 2021, focusing on organizational development, manager enablement, leadership coaching, and talent insights for Technology, Marketing, and G&A departments. Previously, SM Rau was the Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging at Cruise from July 2018 to June 2021, contributing to significant company growth and the development of DEI-focused leadership programs. Prior experience includes HRBP and Leadership Development roles at Whole Foods Market from April 2010 to April 2017, where award-winning innovative programs were implemented. Education consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Social Justice & Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Science in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco.
