Umar Shahzad

Umar Shahzad is the VP of Design at LaunchGood. Umar has over 10 years of experience in the design industry, working with clients from all over the world to create intuitive user interfaces and establish their brand's identity. Shahzad is also a certified graphic designer and has been involved with the RGD - Association of Registered Graphic Designers for many years, serving on the Board and Certification Board.

Umar Shahzad has a BDes from York University in Design. Umar also has a bachelor of design and photography studies from The Change School of Continuing Education. Their certifications include Accessibility Services Canada in Accessibility Services Canada: Formatting Tables for Accessibility Webinar, Accessibility Ontario in Introduction to Website Accessibility Webinar, Accessibility Ontario in Accessible InDesign and PDF Documents Workshop, Accessibility Ontario in Customer Service Standard, and Accessibility Ontario in Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. Umar is also a Registered Graphic Designer from RGD - Association of Registered Graphic Designers.

Umar Shahzad reports to Chris Blauvelt, Founder & CEO. Some direct reports include Amin Dada - Graphic Designer, Rabiya Alttin - Senior Content Marketing Producer, and Daniel Van Taarling - Community Engagement Manager. They are on a team with Maria Arshad - Chief Product Officer, Amany Killawi - Co-founder & COO, and Madiha Zaman - Senior Accounting Manager.
