Albert Vila

Albert Vila has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development and management roles. Albert is currently serving as the VP of Software Development at Launchmetrics since September 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services from September 2016 to July 2017. Albert also has experience with Launchmetrics, where they held the position of R&D Manager from January 2012 to August 2016. Before that, they worked as a Co-founder, Software Architect, and Developer at Teliasoft from September 2004 to December 2015. Albert also served as an R&D Manager at iMente Global S.L. from January 2003 to December 2011. Albert was a Co-founder and Technical Manager at MundoAnuncio from September 2004 to December 2006. Albert also worked as an IT Manager at Lismore from October 2002 to June 2003. Additionally, Albert was a Software Architect and Developer at THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY GROUP (IHG) from February 2000 to September 2002, and a Software Developer at Recerca Informàtica from January 1999 to January 2000.

Albert Vila began their education in 1996 at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering. During this program, they focused on studying software engineering, databases, and information systems. In 2001, they completed an Advanced Java course, which further expanded their knowledge in this field. Additionally, in 2000, they completed a Visual C++ course, indicating their interest in programming languages.
