Dave Paden

Dave Paden has extensive work experience in the field of electric propulsion solutions. Dave currently holds the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at LaunchPoint Electric Propulsion Solutions, Inc., a company they joined in June 2020. Prior to this, Dave worked at LaunchPoint Technologies for over two decades, starting in 1995. During their time at LaunchPoint Technologies, they held various roles including President and Vice President of Engineering. Their work primarily focused on the development of reliable hybrid power systems for small electric UAVs as well as electric and hybrid-electric aircraft propulsion systems for both unmanned and manned aircraft. Additionally, Dave collaborated with partners to implement control methods that improve lift/kW performance and reduce acoustic signature in electric propulsion systems.

From 1989 to 1991, Dave Paden attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
