Peter Jorgensen possesses extensive experience in software and systems engineering, with a career spanning over a decade. At RTX from July 2021 to January 2024, Peter held the positions of Software/Firmware Project Lead and Deputy Chief Engineer. Currently serving as a System Engineer at LaunchPoint Electric Propulsion Solutions, Inc. since December 2024, Peter supports the development of Department of Defense standard requirements and verification processes. Previously, Peter worked at L3 Technologies from June 2009 to March 2020 as a Software Engineer, specializing in subsea academic and science infrastructure, underwater warfare training ranges, embedded software engineering, and networking. Additionally, Peter served as a Software Engineering Manager at L3Harris Technologies from March 2020 to July 2021. Peter holds a Master's degree in System Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
