Laureate College is a private co-ed boarding school that offers courses leading to the completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with specialized STEM, Gifted Arts and International Business pathways, as well as the English for Academic Purpose (EAP) Program for all learners preparing for college and university worldwide. Living in a diverse society and a globally competitive market, students need to be adaptable, resourceful, cooperative, entrepreneurial, self-reliant, and communicative. Having these abilities, students acquire collaborative learning skills, cross-cultural communicative competence, productivity, and responsiveness. Success is achieved by taking courses at Laureate, where students develop these skills and learn with qualified teachers in a caring and nurturing learning environment. A rigorous curriculum is developed using effective strategies and learning tools that result in high student engagement. Integrated guidance and support keep students moving forward to reach their potential. At Laureate, academic learning is our focus, but also the nurturing of qualities to be a responsible and respectful individual. A 21st-century learner develops the ability to expand opportunities to learn through connections and continuous change.
