Jon Wheeler

Jon Wheeler has worked at Laurel Road since 2017, initially as a Principal Software Engineer and later as the Director of Engineering and currently as the VP of Engineering. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Doejo from 2012 to 2017.

Jon Wheeler obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film and Video Production from the University of Wales, Newport from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Art foundation at Bedford college from 2003 to 2004. From 1998 to 2003, they attended Sharnbrook Upper and received A levels and GCSEs.

In addition to their academic education, Jon Wheeler also earned several certifications. In September 2008, they became an Open Water Scuba Instructor through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). In August 2010, they obtained the Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) certification and became an IDC Staff Instructor with PADI in September 2010. Most recently, in January 2022, Jon received the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) credential from the Scrum Alliance.
