Jacob Dodd

Jacob Dodd is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Laurel, where they lead the development and design of production-grade LLM and ML features. Previously, they held various roles at Preston Ventures and Discern Health, including Vice President of Data Science, where they focused on building predictive healthcare products and leading teams in machine learning initiatives. Jacob's experience spans data engineering and regulatory internships, alongside foundational roles that include data consulting and environmental research. They hold a B.S. in Environmental Systems from UC San Diego and are currently pursuing a Master of Science in Bioinformatics at Brandeis University.
