Gerald Smith began their work experience in 2014 as a Student Athlete at Samford University, where they devoted 30-40 hours per week to team practice, travel, study hall, team meetings, and community service. In 2017, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at Samford University Marketing Office, followed by a Sales Associate role at Nike in 2016. In 2018, they held three roles simultaneously, as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Samford University Athletics, a Marketing and Communications Associate at The Literacy Council of Central Alabama, and a Sales Associate - Event Planner at Michael Kors. In 2020, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Stealth - ISS Group Inc., until the Covid-19 shutdown, and as a Marketing & Customer Success Manager at Virtual Dining Concepts. Currently, they are a Customer Success Manager at LAWCLERK, where they manage an average of 400+ clients while providing the highest level of customer service and support.
Gerald Smith received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication/Marketing from Samford University in 2018. Gerald then went on to earn a Masters in Instructional Leadership: Policy, Management, and Leadership from Samford University in 2019.
