Mike Terry's work experience includes founding and serving as CEO of SubWire, a platform and mobile app that allows creators to pay fans for capturing videos. Mike also served as the technical co-founder of LAWFTY, a machine learning and search ads company, where they managed engineering, data science, and digital marketing teams. Additionally, they worked as an engineering manager at Thirty Madison, where they led the development teams for three multi-million dollar business units. Mike also served as an engineering manager at Airbnb, overseeing the growth of the Homes Host platform. Prior to these roles, they founded Cover Zero Lab, where they developed prototypes and minimum viable products for various sectors, and worked as a radar engineering team lead at Raytheon. Mike has also held positions at The Data Institute, University of San Francisco, SeeTheScene.TV, Institute for Defense Analyses, and SGI.
Mike Terry attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, with a minor in Psychology. Mike then pursued further education at the same institution from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.
