Simone Rosenthal

Simone Rosenthal is a seasoned legal professional specializing in data protection and security, intellectual property, media, and tax. Since 2007, Simone has been a partner at Schürman, Wolschendorf Rechtsanwälte, where expertise in these areas is applied. In addition, Simone founded Isico Datenschutz GmbH in 2009 and serves as CEO, focusing on data protection services. As a co-founder of lawpilots GmbH since 2017, Simone contributes to an e-learning platform that simplifies regulatory content on data protection, information security, compliance, and occupational safety. Moreover, as a co-founder of caralegal since 2020, Simone is involved in a legal tech company offering smart data management solutions. Prior legal experience includes working as a lawyer at Dröge Piltz Suderow & Gronemeyer from 2004 to 2007. Simone completed a Volljuristin degree and Referendariat at OLG Düsseldorf from 2002 to 2004, following a Bachelor’s degree from Bielefeld University (1997-2001).
