Laws.Africa is a South African non-profit organisation that builds and operates digital legal publishing and research infrastructure for Africa.

We work with governments, judiciaries, legal information institutes, and professional bodies to digitise, manage, publish, and use legislation, judgments, gazettes, and related legal information.

Our platforms and programmes support sustainable legal publishing through open-source technology, editorial workflows, training, capacity building, offline access, analytics, and AI-assisted tools. Through initiatives such as Open Law Africa and LawLibrary SA, we help turn public legal information into a reliable, accessible, and useful resource for legal professionals, public institutions, and the public.
