Alison Meredith has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alison is currently working at LawVu, joining in 2021 and holding positions such as Director of Product Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships. Prior to LawVu, Alison served as the Chief Legal Officer at Diligen - Contract Analysis Software from 2019 to 2021, and as a Legal Analyst from 2017 to 2019. Alison also worked at Allens as Applied Legal Technology - Document Review Team Lead in 2016 and at Westpac on a secondment from Allens in 2016. Alison's earlier experience includes roles at Huron as a Review Lead in 2015, at Simmons & Simmons as a Litigation Paralegal in 2014, at Huron as a Document Reviewer in 2014, at Inland Revenue NZ as a Legal Clerk from 2013 to 2014, and at LexisNexis as an Author in 2012-2013. Additionally, Alison is involved in the kiwiSaaS Community as the Co-Chair for the Queenstown KiwiSaaS Chapter since 2022.
Alison Meredith started their education in 2003 at Iona College in Havelock North, New Zealand, where they completed their high school education from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they enrolled at Victoria University of Wellington, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the fields of Law and Sociology, respectively. Alison completed their studies at Victoria University of Wellington in 2012. In the same year, Alison was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor at the High Court of New Zealand. Alison also attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2012, where they completed the Professional Legal Studies program.
