Rowan Thomas

Rowan Thomas has extensive work experience, starting in 1994 as an After Hours Emergency Services Manager at IMPERIAL CAR HIRE LIMITED. From there, they worked as an Operations Supervisor at DHL from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they served as an Account Manager at Budget Rent a Car South Africa for two years. Rowan then joined Diners Club South Africa as an Account Manager from 1999 to 2001. Subsequently, Rowan worked as an Account Manager at Miraculum - A division of Dimension Data for a few months before transitioning to SBI - ERP.com as a Solutions Consultant from 2001 to 2003. Rowan then joined Metrofile as an Account Manager until 2005. Rowan's next role was at Bidvest Paperplus, where they held two positions: Project Manager-Lithotech Exports from 2011 to 2016, and Special Projects Manager-Lithotech Solutions from 2005 to 2011. After this, they worked as a Channel Manager at Bytes Systems Integration from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Rowan is serving as the VP Sales Operations at Laxton Group since 2019.

Rowan Thomas has pursued a diverse education history. Starting in 1987, they attended the Pretoria College of Education - UNISA for a year, but did not complete their HDipEd degree in Education. In 2004, Rowan briefly attended Damelin for business management, although they did not earn a degree. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and obtained a HDip in Economics & Management Sciences with a concentration in Business/Managerial Economics.
