LJS at a Glance

Small Reception classes with state‑of‑the‑art, Swedish‑inspired open learning spaces including an indoor treehouse and an outdoor learning garden.

Swimming lessons included in the school day from Reception.

Specialist teaching from qualified staff at LJS and Oundle School from Reception onwards in Computing, Art, RE, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Drama, Science, Sport, Maths, English, and Humanities.

Wrap‑around care available from 7:30am to 6pm.

Extensive trips and experiences, including day visits, residentials, overseas tours, ski trips, and the annual Year 6 trip to France.

Small tutor groups, with form tutors responsible for just 10–11 pupils.

Access to Oundle School’s outstanding facilities, including the Sports Centre, pitches, Chapel, Science Hub, Performing Arts Theatre, and Art Gallery.

Onsite Woodland Garden dedicated to outdoor learning and exploration, fully embedded into curriculum time.

Preferred pathway into Oundle School, while ensuring every child is supported in finding the right 11+ destination for them.

Infinitas Programme, equipping pupils with future‑ready skills, from digital literacy to problem‑solving, leadership, and creativity,  as an integral part of the curriculum.
