Greg Smith serves as the General Manager for the Central Region at Layer 3 Communications since February 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing operations and formulating sales and business strategies across a broad geographic area from Georgia to Texas. Prior to this role, Greg held various leadership positions including Regional Manager and Director of Southeast Sales at Dasher Technologies, where the focus was on sales and marketing strategies in Alabama and Florida. Earlier career experiences include roles at Peak 10, CA Technologies, Cisco Systems, Great Lakes Technologies, and Paradyne/AT&T/Lucnet, showcasing a strong background in sales, client management, and technical support across multiple telecommunications and technology companies. Greg’s career foundation began in the United States Air Force, where valuable experience was gained in maintaining communications systems. Education was completed at Colorado Technical University.
