Sibi Mylon

Sibi Mylon has four years of professional experience in the Information Technology field. In 2015, they worked as a Network Analyst at Premier Industries, where they implemented and managed corporate and data center devices configured in ring topology, handled Access Points, switches and security devices such as Cisco ASA, and configured and troubleshot Routing protocols like Static Routing, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Stevens Institute of Technology. In 2018, they joined Layer 7 Data Solutions as a Network Engineer, where they performed Firewall upgrades with minimum or no downtime, installed and configured NAT, DHCP server and DNS in large networks, and built Site to Site IPSec based VPN Tunnels between various client and business partner sites. In 2019, Mylon joined Unlimited Technology Inc as an Information Technology Security Specialist, where they maintained network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems, and network Design and Implementation. Sibi also dealt with Nexus models like 7K, 5K, 2K series, Cisco router models like 7200, 3800, 3600, 2800, 2600, 2500, 1800 series and Cisco catalyst 6500, 4500, 3750, 3500, 2900 series switches, and implemented and troubleshooted complex layer 3 and layer 2 technologies such as VLAN Trunks, VTP, Ether channel, STP, RSTP and MST.

Sibi Mylon obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015. Sibi then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2017. In 2021, Sibi was awarded a Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services. In 2017, Sibi obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco. Sibi has also obtained certifications in AWS Concepts, CCNA Security, and Real Time and Embedded Systems.
