Jake Rappaport

Jake Rappaport is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with experience as a Cyber Risk and Compliance Consultant at Layer 8 Security since November 2024. Prior to this role, Rappaport worked at Ascensus from May 2020 to November 2024, starting as an Information Security Intern before advancing to the positions of Cyber Threat Analyst and Information Security Engineer. In these roles, Rappaport was responsible for implementing and managing a Privileged Access Management platform, developing automation workflows for authentication, and overseeing a web application vulnerability scanning platform. Rappaport holds a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cyber Security from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
