Pedro Barata

Pedro Barata is currently serving as an Information Security Manager at LAYER8, where they have been involved in projects focused on Identity Management and Network Access Control since 2014. Pedro holds a degree in Systems and Information Technologies from New Atlântica University, completed in 2016, and has participated in various significant security projects, contributing to a strong foundation in user-to-network connectivity. Prior experiences include roles as a Project Manager and Technical Support at GFI Portugal, and work as a Wintel Systems Administrator at HP. Pedro also enhanced their cybersecurity expertise through various certifications and training courses, including CISSP and CCNA CyberOps.
