Varun Marthand

Varun Marthand is an experienced AI/ML Engineer currently at LayerFive since May 2025. Previously, Varun worked at DIMAAG from November 2022 to May 2025 as an Associate Senior Software Engineer in AI/ML, where responsibilities included leading the development of AI components for a Video Process Verification system and architecting a multi-model pipeline for real-time data processing. Varun also held the position of Software Engineer AI/ML at DIMAAG, managing over 20 production models and engineering ETL pipelines for large-scale video data. Prior experience includes a Data Science Internship at Ai Variant, where Varun contributed to data-driven solutions across multiple domains, and a Software Developer role at Synnex Softech, focused on front-end development and UX design. Varun holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from MIT World Peace University, completed in 2021, and a High School Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications from the same institution, completed in 2018.
