Yusuke Shibui is an engineering manager of R&D and data search at LayerX, where they lead a new search team and manage client projects with major Japanese companies. With 14 years of experience in public cloud development and operations, Yusuke has authored "Machine Learning System Design Pattern" and co-authored “MLOps by Examples.” They have substantial expertise in programming languages and hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning, and MLOps. Previously, Yusuke held senior engineering roles at Stability AI, Launchable, and Mercari, where they significantly contributed to the development of AI technologies and managed teams of diverse backgrounds. Yusuke holds a Master of Arts from The University of Tokyo and is a member of MENSA.
