Omid Bodaghi is a Research Engineer at LayerZero Labs since June 2025, previously serving as a Security Researcher at Nethermind where contributions included the implementation of LaBRADOR, a lattice-based proof system, and co-development of the Poseidon hash function. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, where research focused on post-quantum verifiable random functions and hash-based signature schemes, alongside teaching various computer science courses.
