Simonas Baksys

Simonas Baksys currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at LayerZero Labs since November 2023 and has been an angel investor and advisor while self-employed since January 2022. Prior to this, Simonas was a co-founder of the GTM & BD for Digital Assets at Google Cloud from April 2017 to November 2023, where responsibilities included business development and strategic partnerships within the Web3 space. Experience also includes roles such as Enterprise Territory Manager and Corporate Territory Manager at Google Cloud, along with founding and leading an e-commerce apparel company from January 2015 to March 2020. Additional positions held include Account Executive at Stack Overflow and roles at IZEA and Honda Engineering North America. Simonas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Professional Sales from the University of Central Florida.
