Megan Hunter is an experienced social worker and mental health clinician with a diverse professional background in both clinical and community settings. Currently serving as a Social Worker and Itinerant Mental Health Clinician at Upper Grand District School Board since September 2018, as well as a Partner Therapist at Layla, Megan has also worked at the Ministry of Attorney General - Office of the Children’s Lawyer since April 2014 as a Clinical Agent and has maintained a Private Practice Counseling role since March 2014 as a Clinical Social Worker. Prior experience includes working as a Social Worker at Guelph General Hospital, a Family Service Worker at Family and Children's Services of Guelph and Wellington County, and an Intake Worker at Brant Family and Children's Services. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies from the University of Guelph, along with a certificate in Children's Mental Health from Mount Royal University.
