Layla is a curated community for senior data and AI leaders, people who value real conversation, intellectual curiosity and meaningful connection.

We host intimate salons that feel closer to a private view than a conference, blending industry leaders with artists and researchers whose work explores data, machine systems and digital culture.

Gatherings typically open with a short provocation before moving into small-group, off-the-record conversations on the choices leaders are making in real products and platforms - from AI operating models and experimentation to data culture, cost trade-offs, safety and the human experience around the work. Each salon will differ from the last, with guest speakers, panel moments or fireside chats and curated discussions.

But Layla is more than an event.
Our aim is to build a community that stays connected between salons, forging relationships, sharing approaches and continuing conversations that matter. Layla will evolve in format and location, new venues, new cities, perhaps new countries but the ethos stays constant.

Curation is at the heart of Layla.
We hand-pick guests for their seniority, thoughtfulness and the richness of their career paths. A typical room might include a Chief Data Officer from banking, a product director from a marketplace, a principal engineer from media tech, an ML scientist from fashion and an artist exploring machine behaviour. Every participant brings something unique, and every introduction is intentional. Guests are also encouraged to refer someone they would value meeting.

Why people join:
• To gain clarity on the challenges they’re wrestling with now
• To learn from peers who’ve been there before
• To build relationships they can call on later - not just collect business cards
• To be part of a community that blends technical depth with human insight
