Nicholas Lakeland is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various aspects of law, particularly specializing in employment and pensions. Currently a Partner at Laytons ETL since August 2017, Nicholas also serves as the Director and Chairman of the International Practice Group, having been elected as Director in May 2018 and Chairman in May 2022. Previously, Nicholas was an LLP Partner at Silverman Sherliker LLP (now Laytons ETL) from 1998 to 2017, where Nicholas led the Employment & Pensions Law Unit and contributed to the firm's Italian desk. Nicholas began their legal career as an Associate at The Simkins Partnership and has extensive foundational training from McKenna & Co. Nicholas holds an LLB from The London School of Economics and a Diploma in UK and European Law of Copyright and Related Rights from King's College London.
