Max Barnes is currently the Vice President of Private Capital Advisory (Secondaries) at Lazard, bringing extensive experience as a Private Markets Analyst with a focus on primary, secondary, and co-investment opportunities in private equity. With a solid background in analytics and financial due diligence, Max has held several positions, including Senior Associate and Private Equity - Senior Investment Analyst at Rede Partners LLP and Aberdeen Standard Investments, respectively. Max's career began with work experience at notable firms such as Brewin Dolphin and Canaccord Genuity Inc., complemented by international exposure gained in Hong Kong. Academically, Max holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Politics from the University of Leeds.
