Max Martchenko

Max Martchenko is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Compliance at Lazard since July 2023, Martchenko previously held roles at ACA Group as Principal Consultant and Consultant from January 2020 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes a progression at Smith & Williamson from Trainee Compliance Officer to Compliance Manager in Banking and Investment between October 2013 and January 2020. Martchenko began a career in compliance at Sberbank as a Legal Intern in late 2011. Educationally, Martchenko holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queen Mary University of London and an International Baccalaureate from Overseas Family School in Singapore.
