Michael Gessner

Michael Gessner is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and consulting. Currently serving as Managing Director at Lazard since April 2019, Michael has held various leadership roles including Director of Telecom & Digital Infrastructure and Vice President of Telecom, Media & Entertainment. Prior experience includes an Associate position at Harris Williams from June 2015 to February 2019 and a Senior Associate role in KPMG US’s Risk Consulting practice from October 2009 to July 2013, where Michael contributed to various advisory engagements related to risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal audit support. Michael holds an MBA in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Miami University.
