Mike Gathy

Mike Gathy currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer at Lazard since October 2023, following an extensive tenure at Morgan Stanley from May 2017 to October 2023, where Mike held the roles of Managing Director and Global Head of Investment Management Controllership. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mike worked at PwC from August 2003 to April 2017, achieving the position of Director and earning numerous accolades for leadership and contributions to the banking sector. Mike's expertise encompasses valuation of financial instruments, complex accounting topics, internal controls, and regulatory compliance, complemented by a strong educational background with a dual degree in Accounting and Finance from New York University - Stern School of Business.
