Sam Beck

Sam Beck has a diverse work experience in the rail and industrial products industry. Sam started their career at Norfolk Southern as a Mechanical Co-Op, where they gained experience in railcar repairs, safety procedures, and equipment design. Sam then worked at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology as a Machine Shop Assistant, fabricating components and maintaining shop equipment. Sam then joined BNSF Railway, where they held various roles including Mechanical Management Trainee, Mechanical Foreman I, and Industrial Products Business Development Manager. In these roles, they oversaw trainyard operations, managed customer relationships, and facilitated facility expansion projects. Most recently, Sam joined LB Foster as Midwest Rail Sales Manager and later became the Director Rail Sales.

Sam Beck completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics from the University of Washington from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2014, Sam earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Sam's earlier education includes attending Marian Catholic High School from 2006 to 2010, but no specific degree or field of study is provided for that period.
