Lawrence Behr

Lawrence Behr has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lawrence started their career in 1963 as the Chairman and CEO of LBA Group, Inc., a company that provides wireless infrastructure products and services. Lawrence played a crucial role in making LBA one of the top 500 small minority businesses in the US.

In 1985, Behr became a Principal at Baypoint TV, Inc., a position they held for 35 years until their retirement in 2020. Lawrence also served as a Principal at JRZ Associates, LLC, starting in 1990 until their retirement in 2020.

Behr took on a different role in 2007 when they joined Sound Rivers, Inc. as the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors. Sound Rivers is an organization that focuses on education and environmental support in the Tar-Pamlico and Neuse River basins.

Additionally, Behr served on the Board of Directors of Millennia Community Bank from 2001 to 2003.

Lawrence Behr attended East Carolina University - College of Business from 1961 to 1965, majoring in Business. Lawrence has also obtained certifications as a Certified EMC Engineer and Certified Telecommunications Master Engineer from Exemplar Global, Inc. in 2020.
