John Samuel has a diverse and impressive work experience spanning various industries. John began their career as a Senior Executive in Treasury at Sasken, where they developed relationships with financial institutions and implemented a cash management system. John then moved on to work as an Outreach Representative at The City of New York Office of Labor Relations, where they obtained licenses to provide retirement education and implemented a database to monitor presentation metrics.
Following this, John served as the Sub-Saharan Africa Head at Aster Pvt Ltd, advising MTN Group on global procurement processes and introducing cost-saving measures. John also worked as the Country Manager at Aster Global Services Cameroon Ltd, leading a team and delivering significant revenue and profit for the company.
John later joined Tata Consultancy Services as a Strategic Alliances specialist, collaborating with the management team to increase revenue contribution. John then took on the role of Director of Product at Homestrings Limited, where they designed and executed the strategic vision to scale the crowdfunding investment platform.
In 2017, John joined LCI as the Head of Technology Services, launching a new business division to create tech jobs for individuals who were blind. John co-founded Ablr 360 in 2020, serving as the CEO and leading the mission to remove barriers for people with disabilities.
Most recently, John became an Author at Baron Publishing, using their personal experience with a degenerative eye disease and expertise in disability inclusion to advocate for accessibility and diversity. John has also been a Professional Speaker, sharing their insights and knowledge in various events.
John Samuel obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The George Washington University School of Business in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University in 2005. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the USF Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021, and in Accessibility Core Competencies from the IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals in 2018. John also attended The American School In Japan, although the degree or field of study is not specified.
