Steve McAdam

Steve McAdam is a Senior Advisor at the London Communications Agency, focusing on grassroots engagement and co-design in projects. They have extensive experience in communication and change, having served as a founding director of Soundings from 2007 to 2023, which specialized in co-design and public consultation. Prior to that, Steve held the position of Unit Master at the Architectural Association from 1984 to 1992, contributing to research in hybrid design. They also co-founded the Cities Institute at London Metropolitan University, where they were a Senior Lecturer and MA Cities Convenor from 1993 to 2008. Currently, Steve is involved with Homes England as Head of Public Affairs and Engagement, while also consulting independently.
