Marissa Hatton

Marissa Hatton is a Senior Staff Attorney in the Racial Justice Program at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, Marissa served as a Staff Attorney at the Prison Law Office and as a Supervising Attorney & Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Civil Rights Clinic at Georgetown University Law Center from 2020 to 2023. Between 2017 and 2020, Marissa worked as a Staff Attorney at EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW. Marissa earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) cum laude and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Advocacy from Georgetown University Law Center, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
