Jon Labie is an experienced Geographic Information System (GIS) Administrator at LCEC since September 2019. Previously, Jon held several roles at Ecology and Environment, Inc., including Environmental Specialist III and Environmental Specialist II, serving as Site Manager for Petroleum Restoration Program Team 6. Additionally, Jon worked as a Program Specialist at York Risk Services Group, where responsibilities involved PR contracting for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Petroleum Restoration Program. Jon's early career included an Environmental Specialist II position at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, focusing on data editing, spatial problem solving, and aerial imagery analysis. Jon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Florida State University in 2011.

LCEC is a not-for-profit electric distribution cooperative. We energize the community by providing reliable, cost-competitive electric and emerging energy solutions and quality service to our customer members. We serve customers throughout five counties in pristine, beautiful Southwest Florida. LCEC was formed in 1940 to serve areas no other utility wanted to serve. Today the membership has grown to nearly 200,000 and includes cities such as Cape Coral, Marco Island, Sanibel-Captiva and Everglades City along with areas such as North Fort Myers, Immokalee, Ave Maria and parts of Lehigh Acres. Employees are committed to serving the community through volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors. LCEC is among the top contributors to United Way and is involved in everything from the arts, education, and wellness to local economic development, Chambers of Commerce and many civic organizations.
