Robert Crabtree has extensive experience in engineering and technical roles within the energy sector. Currently serving as Meter Services Engineering Coordinator and previously as Power Quality Engineer at LCEC since May 2016, Robert has developed expertise in managing power quality and meter services. Prior experience includes positions as Senior PnC Field Service Technician at Powergrid Engineering and Substation Protection and Controls Relay Test Technician at Dayton Power and Light, spanning a total of eight years. Additionally, Robert served as a Nuclear Electrical Technician in the US Navy for over eight years. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Excelsior University and an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sinclair Community College.

We energize the community by providing reliable, cost-competitive electric and emerging energy solutions and quality service to our customer members. We serve customers throughout five counties in pristine, beautiful Southwest Florida. LCEC was formed in 1940 to serve areas no other utility wanted to serve. Today the membership has grown to nearly 200,000 and includes cities such as Cape Coral, Marco Island, Sanibel-Captiva and Everglades City along with areas such as North Fort Myers, Immokalee, Ave Maria and parts of Lehigh Acres. Employees are committed to serving the community through volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors.
