Nick Steele

Nick Steele is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Head of Rates Risk at LCH, overseeing Swapclear, Listed Rates, and Swapagent since July 2021. Previously, Nick held the position of Managing Director for Collateral Optimisation within Financial Resource Management at Barclays Investment Bank from July 2012 to June 2021, where responsibilities included managing firm collateral outcomes and implementing Uncleared Margin Rules. Nick also served as a Director focusing on Cross Margining and Risk Management at Deutsche Bank from July 2010 to November 2012. Educationally, Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford, earned between 1992 and 1995, and has chaired the ISDA SIMM Governance Executive Committee.
