Simon Petres

Simon Petres currently serves as the Head of First Line Resilience at LCH, responsible for overseeing Resilience Risks within the First Line of defense since July 2022. Previously, Simon held the position of Business Manager, focusing on Third Party Risk Management. Prior experience includes roles at Société Générale from June 2014 to June 2022, where key responsibilities involved managing rare resources and collateral optimization, as well as serving as the functional director of the FRTB program. Earlier positions include project management for Basel 2.5 and LBF, consulting at Axis Alternatives, credit derivatives trading at Société Générale, and an internship at Altia. Simon Petres holds a degree from ENSAE Paris, completed in 2008.
