David Wilson

David Wilson, P.E. is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Senior Engineer and Rotating Equipment Subject Matter Expert at LCRA since February 2022. Previously, David held roles as Project Engineer in Infrastructure & Energy at Stell and as Service Design Engineer and Senior at TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company, where responsibilities included managing service project technical aspects and conducting advanced engineering studies for electric motors. Earlier experience includes positions at the University of Texas Center for Electromechanics as a Research Engineer/Associate I, Texas Research International as an Engineering Laboratory Technician, and Manitex, Inc. as a Mechanical Assembler. David’s career began in the US Navy as an Engineering Laboratory Technician and Mechanical Operator, maintaining the operational integrity of a nuclear propulsion facility. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has undergone extensive specialized training through various naval nuclear programs.
